Welcome to the MWRA, the home of Midwest UTV Racing. The MWRA (Mid West Racing Association) was founded in 2009 by Andy Prins and Chris Drennan. Our goal is to create a professional racing series for the fastest growing market segment of the power sports industry. In doing this, we want to create a community of like minded individuals who enjoy friendly competition and all the other thrills of racing. We also want to create an arena for industry specific companies to test, develop and promote their performance products in a largely untapped region of the country. We have put together a rulebook to be used within our sanctioning body. Any track hosting races can become a part of the MWRA.
We offer classes from factory stock UTV's to full blown race machines with long travel suspension and forced induction. In our rulebook you will find all the information needed to find a class which suits your needs. We allow all makes and models of UTV's / Side by Sides including, but not limited to: Arctic Cat Prowler, Kawasaki Teryx, Honda Big Red, Polaris Ranger, Polaris RZR and Yamaha Rhino.
So take a look around our site, pick out some races near your area and come on down. This first year is all about getting this thing started. We have lots of races planned this year in an effort to get everybody involved. We will be running MWRA races this year in conjunction with the MAORA Series as well. Please feel free to contact us any time for any questions regarding racing or sponsorship.
6-13-09 Hamilton, OH - Round #3 of the MWRA's UTV Racing series went great. We had our best turn out yet. It rained the night before so the morning started out pretty muddy, but as the afternoon progressed the track was in perfect condition for racing. Thanks to Jerry Weaver and family for all the hard work preparing the track for us!
Congratulations to Jason Hawk who took first place overall and Megan Hawk who took second. It was a really fun day for everyone and the competition was great!
Our next event is in Kirksville, MO on June 20-21. We hope to see more new faces there!
